Enarro is a novel genre of tourist guides for the contemporary world traveler. Enarro exploits positioning and multimedia technologies to deliver to your PDA or Smart Phone audio-visual tourist guiding in real time, while on tour. In tandem with GPS and other positioning means, tourists use Enarro to follow tour itineraries, listen to audio-visual narration at tourist attractions and navigate to destinations, both outdoors and indoors.

To produce Enarro guides, Sagie Research processes in its Geo-Media tourism data on over 300 cities around the world in collaboration with premier information services and heritage and culture organizations.

Enarro is supported by the Israel Ministry of Trade, Office of the Chief Scientist. Enarro 1 has been launched in Europe in 2004, available in 6 European languages, and supporting PDA and outdoor maps. Enarro 2 will be launched worldwide in 2005 additionally supporting Smart Phones and indoor maps.
